A lamb peeping out of a rocking crib, 'hello baby' bunting above and a message of congratulations below: a card to stitch for a new arrival or a christening, to hand over in person or post in the envelope supplied.
It is worked in counted cross stitch, with back stitch for the outlines and French knots for the small details; the alphabet included lets you add the baby's name or a short message. All you need to add are small scissors and, if you like to work with the fabric taut, a little hoop. Once stitched, the Aida is mounted in the card aperture, and the recipient can keep it framed as a memento.
