Description

A sampler of old-fashioned nursery toys, each with its own sound stitched beside it: a cheerful piece for a child's room or a new-baby gift. The design is by Kate Garrett and is worked in counted cross stitch on white Aida, with back stitch outlines and a few French knots for the details.

The threads come ready sorted by colour, so you can start straight away. A hoop or frame and a small pair of embroidery scissors make the work easier. The frame shown in the photo is not included: the finished piece can be framed, or mounted on the wooden dowel supplied so it can hang on the wall.
