Description

A summer afternoon scene: two mice raise their glasses on a checked blanket, surrounded by little cakes, a basket of meadow flowers and bunting hanging from the branches. The meadow background is already printed in full colour on the fabric, so only the characters and the details are stitched and the work grows quickly.

Alongside cross stitch you will use back stitch for the outlines, French knots and lazy daisies for the small flowers; everything is explained in the instructions that come with the clear chart. The threads arrive already sorted by colour on the organiser, so nothing else is needed to begin, apart from a hoop or frame if you like to keep the fabric taut. A picture frame is not included.
