A goose in full party mode, with a paper hat, a yellow balloon and an armful of roses, joined by a dancing mouse, a cupcake and an ice cream sundae: a birthday card to stitch and then give away. Alongside cross stitch the design uses back stitch for the outlines and a few French knots, so it is a small project with a little variety.
The kit also includes an alphabet for adding the birthday person's name, which makes the card truly personal. The finished stitching is mounted in the cream card supplied, ready to send in its envelope. All you need to add is a pair of embroidery scissors and, if you like to keep the fabric taut, a small hoop.
