Fountain of Desires

A tiered fountain in a shady formal garden, framed by a bush of pink roses: the shaded petals and the softly suggested water give the finished piece an almost watercolour look. It is a medium-sized project with plenty of colour changes, best suited to stitchers who already have some experience of counted cross stitch.

The threads come ready sorted on the organiser with their DMC numbers, so you can start straight away. For comfortable stitching you will also want a hoop or frame and a small pair of embroidery scissors, which are not part of the kit. Once finished, wash and press the work from the back before framing it; the frame shown in the photo is not included.
