Happy Garden

A bunch of pink roses with violets, sprigs of lavender and a few butterflies, worked in counted cross stitch on a pale grey ground that sets off the many shades of pink, lilac and green in the petals and leaves. The threads come ready sorted by colour on an organiser, so you can start stitching straight away.

The fabric is not printed: you follow the colour chart with symbols, counting from the centre. With 34 colours and frequent shade changes, it suits a stitcher with some experience. A hoop or frame and small scissors are needed as well, and are not included. The finished piece lends itself to framing; the frame shown in the photo is not part of the kit.
