Description

A winter morning in a snowy wood: the little cottage with its green door, squirrels nosing among the pine cones, a great tit on branches heavy with berries and the sun breaking through the firs. It is a large piece with many shades and a lot of detail, best suited to stitchers who are already at ease with counted cross stitch and enjoy a long project.

The design is worked from the symbol chart, usually with two strands of stranded cotton on Aida; the threads come already sorted by colour on the organiser, so each one is easy to find. A hoop or frame and good light make the work more comfortable. The picture frame is not included: the finished piece can be framed to suit your room.
