Autumn Wreath

An autumn wreath made of golden oak leaves, acorns, red rowan berries, blackberries and little mushrooms, worked in counted cross stitch from the chart. The many colour changes give depth to the leaves and fruit, so it pays to follow the grid carefully; the even weave of the white Aida makes the stitches easy to count.

The kit holds everything you need to stitch the design; you only have to add a hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors, plus the picture frame, which is not included. With its open centre, the motif also works well made up as a cushion or an autumn table centre.
