Dutch Windmills

A Dutch landscape with windmills reflected in the water, worked in counted cross stitch from the enclosed chart. The ice-blue fabric acts as both sky and water, so there is no background to fill in and the piece grows faster than its size suggests.

The kit holds everything needed to stitch, threads and needle included: you only need to add a hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors. The fine weave of 16-count Aida calls for careful counting, which makes this a better choice for stitchers with a little experience. Once finished, it is a picture to frame.
