French Café

A narrow street at dusk with a lit café, sweet-shop windows, an archway covered in roses and a bicycle leaning against the wall: a design full of detail and subtle shading, worked in counted cross stitch from the chart. With forty colours and a generous stitching area it is a project to take slowly, better suited to stitchers with some experience behind them.

The kit holds everything you need to stitch; the frame shown in the photo is not included, nor is a hoop or stretcher, which helps keep the fabric taut on a piece this size. The ice-blue Aida gives a luminous background to the evening lights of the scene. Once finished, the piece is ideal for framing.
