Holiday Venice

A wintry view of Venice, worked in counted cross stitch on night blue Aida: the dark ground makes the lights and pale tones stand out and stays visible in the unstitched areas, where it becomes part of the night-time atmosphere.

The kit comes with the materials needed to stitch, so you can start straight away following the enclosed chart. This is a tall, upright design with many shades, better suited to stitchers who have already worked counted cross stitch. A hoop or frame is useful while stitching, and a picture frame for finishing: the narrow, elongated format works well above a console table or in a hallway.
