Spring - Murano Lugana

A spring landscape: a tree covered in pink blossom, a white cottage at the end of the meadow, a path running beside the water and two ducks swimming past the flowering shrubs. The sky and the greens are built up from many close shades, so good light helps, as does marking off the areas already stitched on the chart.

The evenweave fabric is worked over two threads, like 16-count Aida: the stitches are small and the compact format keeps the project manageable. All you need to add is a hoop and a small pair of scissors, since threads, needle and chart are supplied. The frame is not included: once finished, the piece makes a small picture to frame.
