A tribute to London in the cold season, worked in counted cross stitch on a cappuccino-coloured Aida that gives the piece a warm, slightly vintage background. The DMC threads are already selected and the needle is included, so you can start straight away from the symbol chart. With 35 shades and a fairly fine weave, this project suits stitchers who have already completed a counted design or two.
You will also need a hoop or frame, small scissors and good light; a frame for display is not included, nor is a magnifier, which many find handy on 16-count Aida. Once finished, the embroidery makes a picture to frame.
