Belle de Provence

A Provençal scene in flat, bright colours: a young woman in a straw hat and yellow dress holds a bunch of lavender among the flowering rows, with cypresses, olive trees and poppies around her. The design is already printed on the canvas, so you simply stitch over the printed colour areas with no counting.

Threads are not included: choose them separately, in tapestry wool or cotton, matching the printed shades. You will also need a blunt tapestry needle and, if you like working with the canvas taut, a frame. Penelope canvas is double-threaded, so it suits both half cross stitch and petit point. Once finished, the piece can be framed as a picture; the frame shown is not included.
