An illustrated seascape: a lighthouse on the cliff, white houses looking out to the ocean, a fishing boat riding the waves and a rowing boat pulled up on the sand. The design is already printed in colour on the canvas, so you simply follow the printed areas with no counting involved.

Threads are not included: choose them separately, usually tapestry wool or cotton, matching the printed colours, and use a blunt tapestry needle. Penelope canvas is woven in pairs of threads, so you can work half cross stitch over each pair or split the threads for petit point details. Once finished, the piece can be framed (frame not included) or made up into a cushion.
