Description

A fair-haired child in a hat and denim dungarees holding on to a big cream teddy bear, with marbles scattered across the floor: a tender, highly detailed scene in which the play of light suggests the softness of the fur and the texture of the denim. The large format and the many shades make it a project for stitchers with some experience.

It is worked in half cross stitch, with diagonal stitches all slanting the same way, simply following the colours printed on the canvas. Threads and needle are not included: the recommended DMC Soft Cotton shades can be added to the cart from the required materials list. A frame or stretcher bars help keep the canvas taut while stitching. Once finished, the piece is ready to be framed (frame not included).
