Lighthouse in blue

A tall seaside panel: blue hydrangeas in the foreground beyond a white picket fence, with a lighthouse and a sail on the horizon behind. The design is already printed in colour on the Pénélope canvas, so there is no counting involved: you work in half cross stitch, filling one colour area at a time, which makes it easy to pick up.

Threads are not included: choose them separately, in tapestry wool or cotton, matching the printed shades. The unworked margin around the design leaves room to mount the canvas on a frame and, once finished, to frame the piece or turn it into a wall panel or a long cushion.
