On the deck

A seascape seen from the deck of a sailing boat, with a white yacht passing a lighthouse: a generously sized design worked in half cross stitch by following the colours already printed on the canvas, with no counting involved. The double-thread Penelope canvas also allows petit point to be worked in the finer details.

Threads are not included: choose them separately, in tapestry wool or cotton, matching the printed shades. A frame or stretcher bars and a blunt tapestry needle make the work easier. Once finished, the piece can be framed (frame not included) or made up into a cushion.
