Peonies

A cluster of pink peonies with softly shaded petals, printed in colour straight onto the canvas: there is no counting, you simply stitch over the design. Penelope canvas is woven with double threads, so the piece can be worked in half cross stitch over each pair or split into petit point where finer detail is wanted in the flowers.

Threads are not included: choose them separately, in tapestry wool or cotton, matching the printed shades. A blunt tapestry needle is also needed, and a frame if you prefer to keep the canvas taut. Once finished, the piece can be framed or made up into a cushion.
