Sleeping cat

A ginger cat asleep in the folds of a white blanket, already printed in colour on the canvas: there is no counting involved, you simply follow the printed areas and work one stitch over each intersection of the mesh.

Threads are not included and are chosen separately: a Penelope canvas of this size is usually worked in tapestry wool, or in cotton, with a blunt tapestry needle. The unprinted margin lets you mount the canvas on a frame and, once finished, stretch it for framing; the completed piece also works well as a cushion front.
