The balloon

A baby Pierrot sitting on the crescent moon, his yellow balloon floating in a starry sky: an old-fashioned design printed in colour on double-thread Penelope canvas. It is worked in half cross stitch by following the print, with no counting involved, so it is a relaxing project even with little experience, although a fairly large one.

Threads are not included: the page lists the DMC Soft Cotton colours used for the model, which can be added to the cart together. You will also need a tapestry needle and, if you like, a rigid frame to keep the canvas taut. Once finished, it makes a picture for a child's room; the frame is not included.
