Cushion - Partridge

A bird in turquoise and ochre among berries and seed heads, worked in half cross stitch on a canvas that is already printed in full colour: you follow the design under the needle with no counting, then add the final details in back stitch with the stranded cottons. The Appletons wool covers the 10 count canvas well and the work grows quickly.

The finished piece is designed to become the front of a cushion: backing fabric, cushion pad and finishing materials are not included and need to be bought separately, or the panel can be made up by an upholsterer. It also works well framed; the frame shown in the photo is not part of the kit.
