Cushion - Red, Red, Robin

A red-breasted robin on a branch, surrounded by holly leaves and berries, from original artwork by Catherine Rowe. The canvas comes printed in full colour, so there is no counting involved: you follow the printed design in half cross stitch with tapestry wool, which covers the canvas thickly and gives a hard-wearing piece, well suited to a cushion front.

Backing fabric, cushion pad and finishing materials are not included: Bothy Threads sells a square velvet backing kit separately, or you can use a fabric of your choice. The red piping shown in the photo is part of the making up. A frame or stretcher bars make the stitching easier to handle.
