Alongside the cross stitch there is back stitch for the outlines and French knots, so it suits stitchers with a few projects behind them.

The threads come already sorted by colour and the chart is clear and generously printed, so you can start straight away. You will also need a hoop or frame to stitch, and a picture frame at the end: neither is included. The square 26 cm design works well as a framed picture, perhaps with a pale mount.
