Snowy Stack

A balancing Christmas tower, with a polar bear carrying a deer, a fox and a little rabbit among fir trees and snowflakes. The design is worked by counting on pale blue Aida: alongside full cross stitches there are a few fractional stitches, back stitch for the outlines and some lazy daisies and French knots, while beads and sequins catch the light in the snow.

The threads come ready sorted on the organiser, so stitching can start straight away. The frame is not included: a hoop or frame and a pair of embroidery scissors are also worth having to hand. Once finished, it makes a winter picture to hang or to give as a gift.
