A tall ship cutting through the waves with its sails full of wind, worked in blues, greens and touches of ochre on a pale ground: a substantial seascape, with shading that gives depth to the sky and the breaking foam.
It is worked in counted cross stitch following the full-colour symbolic chart, starting from the centre of the fabric; the threads come ready sorted on the organiser, so there is no hunting for shades as you go. Written instructions are in English, German and French, while the symbol chart reads in any language. A hoop or frame and good light make the stitching easier. Once finished, the piece is best framed.
