Brunette (Mucha)

An Art Nouveau portrait inspired by Alphonse Mucha: a young woman in profile with long dark hair, a jewelled floral headdress and an ornamental border arranged as a diamond. The many shades of brown, rust and green call for careful reading of the chart, so the design suits stitchers who already have some counted cross stitch behind them.

Fabric, threads, needle and chart all come in the kit; you only need to add a hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors. The frame and mount shown in the photo are not included: once finished, the piece can be mounted on the diagonal as pictured or framed in the usual way.
