Description

A library scene with two wide-eyed kittens resting on a pile of bound books: the stitching covers the whole background, bringing out the soft shading of the fur and the details of the shelves. With 33 colours and many tonal changes it is a demanding piece, better suited to stitchers who are already comfortable with counted cross stitch and chart reading.

You work from the chart, counting the stitches on the Aida, which is easier to handle in a frame or hoop (not part of the kit, and neither is a frame for the finished piece). When the stitching is done, wash the work and press it face down, then have it professionally mounted: this design makes a lovely picture for a living room or a study.
