Flora's little guardian

A little fairy girl among the flowers, with butterfly wings and a crown of colourful blooms: the shaded face and the pale-on-pale petals call for a steady hand and careful chart reading, so this is a project for stitchers with some experience. Besides cross stitch you will work half cross stitch, back stitch for the outlines and french knots for the small details.

Everything needed for stitching is in the kit, threads included; a hoop or frame, small scissors and the picture frame are not supplied. With a tall design and so much shading it helps to stitch in good light and to mark off the finished areas on the chart. Once complete, the panel looks well framed with a pale mount.
