September Dew

An autumn still life: a colander brimming with apples and a pomegranate, leaves turning red and orange, bunches of grapes and a pear resting on the wooden table. The shading of the fruit and of the enamelled metal calls for a fairly wide palette, so this is a rewarding piece for someone who has already completed a few counted cross stitch projects.

Everything you need to stitch is in the box; the frame shown in the photograph is not included, nor is a hoop or stretcher, which helps keep the fabric taut. Once finished, the piece looks at home framed in a kitchen or dining room.
