Sweet Pea

A flowering spray of sweet peas worked across a long, narrow panel: a shape that suits a picture to hang above a door, a bed or a shelf. The kit holds everything needed to stitch, DMC threads included, so work can start as soon as it arrives.

16-count Aida has a close weave and gives small, crisp stitches, with soft shading from the many colours: good light, and a magnifier if you use one, make the work easier. A hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors are useful too. Once the stitching is done, all that is left is choosing a frame.
