Vintage Roses - Linen

A vintage-style spray of roses, with pink and yellow blooms, buds and leaves set on the diagonal, worked in counted cross stitch. The many shades call for careful reading of the chart, so this design is most enjoyable if you have already stitched on evenweave or linen.

On 32-count linen cross stitch is usually worked over two threads of the fabric with two strands of cotton. Everything you need to stitch is in the kit: you only need to add a hoop or frame, small scissors and, once finished, a picture frame. The elongated shape also suits a cushion or a decorative panel.
