Welcoming Spring - Evenweave

A little girl with angel wings and a straw hat, holding a bunch of budding willow twigs beside a lamb: a soft design worked mainly in beige, ivory and grey-blue. The gentle shading of the face and wings comes from many colour changes, so the kit suits stitchers who already have a few cross stitch projects behind them.

The evenweave fabric is stitched over two threads, just like linen, and its regular weave keeps the stitches neat. Everything needed for the stitching is in the box; you only need small scissors and, if you like to work under tension, a hoop or frame. The frame shown in the photograph is not included.
