Winter - Murano Lugana

A snowy country scene with a little red house, haystacks and birds in the foreground: the design is small but uses 31 colours, many of them close shades of pink, blue and cream for the dawn sky. Murano Lugana 32 count is stitched over 2 threads, so the work is fine and the gradual changes of tone come out well.

Everything needed for the stitching is in the kit; the frame is not included, nor are a hoop and scissors, which are worth having to hand. Thanks to its size it is an easy piece to take along when travelling, and once finished it makes a small picture to hang or a Christmas gift.
