Seal Of Approval

Three inquisitive seal pups, taken from Hannah Dale's watercolour for the Wrendale Designs collection. The blue speckled background comes printed on the fabric, so the flecks need no stitching and give the piece depth from the start, while the faces and fur are built up in cross stitch with details finished in back stitch.

The threads arrive already sorted on the organiser, so you can start straight away: handy even with limited experience, although the design has plenty of shading. The frame is not included, nor a hoop or scissors; once finished, the piece can be framed to size or made up into a cushion.
