Step Into Christmas Christmas Card

A robin in red wellington boots, carrying a sprig of mistletoe through the falling snow: a Margaret Sherry design made to become a hand-stitched Christmas card. It is worked in counted cross stitch on the blue Aida supplied, with a little back stitch, one French knot and touches of metallic gold, woolly thread and sequins for texture.

The small format stitches up in a few evenings and is a good way to try special threads for the first time. Once finished, the embroidery is mounted in the triple fold card provided and held in place with the velcro. All you need to add is a pair of small scissors and, if you like, a hoop.
