A white duck peeping out behind a row of sunflowers, from a watercolour by Hannah Dale. The background of the fabric is already printed with the artist's trademark paint splatters, so only the motifs are stitched and the work grows quickly.
It is worked in counted cross stitch following the chart, with backstitch for the outlines; the threads come ready sorted by colour on the organiser, so there is no guesswork with the skeins. All you need to add is a hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors. Once finished, the piece can be framed (frame not included) or made up into a cushion.
