The Bedtime Kiss

A family of foxes caught in a tender moment, from Hannah Dale's watercolours for Wrendale Designs. The Aida comes with a softly speckled printed background that shows around the stitching and gives the scene depth, so there is no solid background to fill in.

The threads arrive already sorted by colour on a card organiser, so you can start straight away from the counted chart. Alongside full crosses there are fractional stitches and back stitch, which shape the faces and the fur, so a little experience helps. You will also need a hoop or frame and small scissors, and the picture frame is not included: the finished piece looks lovely framed for a child's room.
