Two mice spin into a waltz among the tall grass, with an old radio perched on a tree stump, yellow butterflies and musical notes drifting through the air. The meadow and the trees behind them are already printed on the fabric, so you stitch the characters and the details: the work grows faster than a fully counted design and keeps its soft, painterly background.
Alongside cross stitch, the design uses back stitch for the outlines plus French knots and lazy daisies, all covered in the instructions. You will also need a hoop or frame and scissors, and the picture frame is not included. Once finished, the panel can be framed or made up into a cushion.
