Quiet Happiness

A corner of a summer garden: the wooden shed with its glazed window, hydrangeas in full bloom, pots hanging under the eaves and a white chair with a pink cushion waiting in the shade. With 42 colours the shading of flowers and foliage comes out softly, so it helps to keep the threads on the organiser provided and work through the symbol chart area by area.

Aida 16 count has a fairly fine weave: stitch with one or two strands of cotton and good light. Everything needed for the stitching is included, apart from a hoop or frame and a picture frame. The finished square looks well framed, perhaps with a pale mount picking up the white of the shed.
