Papilio Laglaizei

The Papilio laglaizei butterfly is worked in counted cross stitch on a softly mottled fabric that sets off the blue and pink wings. Alongside the cross stitch there are french knots and a few long stitches for the antennae and finer details, so it suits someone who has already stitched a little and enjoys working with shaded colours.

Everything needed for the stitching is in the kit; an embroidery hoop or frame and, once finished, a picture frame are not included. The square format works well framed on a wall, on its own or grouped with other subjects from the same animal collection.
