A harbour view in soft watercolour tones, with boats at their moorings mirrored in the water and red-roofed houses behind: the shades of blue, green and orange come from a wide palette, already sorted onto the organiser so there is no hunting for the right skein at every colour change.
The design is worked by counting stitches on the Aida, following the full-colour symbolic chart; the fabric is not printed. A hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors make the stitching easier. Once finished, the piece suits framing: the frame is not included.
