Winter - Aida

A small winter scene: snow, haystacks, leafless trees and a little house with a red roof standing out against a pink sky. Many shades are packed into just a few centimetres, since 16-count fabric gives very small stitches: the effect is as soft as a watercolour, but good light helps, and a magnifier if you use one.

The kit has everything you need to stitch except a hoop and a frame: the frame shown in the photo is not included. The chart and instructions take you through the design step by step. Once finished, it makes a small picture to hang or stand, and a nice Christmas gift.
