Panda bear goes to sleep

A design made to be a birth sampler: a panda falling asleep in its bundle, moon and star balloons above, and room at the bottom for the baby's name and date, using the alphabet on the chart. The same kit lets you choose the blue or the pink version, so the decision can wait until the last minute.

Counted cross stitch is worked from the large-square chart, which is easy to read even with little experience; outlines are finished in back stitch. A hoop or frame is handy for stitching, and the picture frame is not included. Once finished, the piece is usually framed and makes a lovely gift for a birth or a christening.
