Villages Weekend

A corner of the countryside in summer: a wooden chair with a straw hat resting on its back, an alarm clock and a cup beside it, and in the foreground a basket full of daisies among sprigs of lavender. The design is worked in counted cross stitch following the full-colour symbol chart, on pale Aida that lets the picture breathe.

The threads come already sorted by colour on an organiser, so you can start straight away. Apart from the kit you only need a hoop or frame and small scissors. The many shades of lilac and green make this a project for stitchers with some experience. Once finished, the piece is made to be framed: the frame is not included.
