Description

A summer garden scene: a bench in the shade of a rose-covered arch, a straw hat resting against it, a watering can and a basket of freshly cut roses. The pinks, yellows and greens are shaded across a wide palette, so the chart needs careful following, but the threads come ready sorted on the organiser, which makes changing colour much easier.

The design is worked in cross stitch on 16 count Aida, a fine count that gives crisp little details: good light and a hoop help, and neither the hoop nor a picture frame is included. Once finished, the piece makes a picture to frame and hang.
