Country Kitchen

A busy country kitchen: the big blue range with its kettle and pans, two dogs sitting in front of the oven doors, a dachshund asleep on the floor, a cat curled up in the basket and another strolling along the mantel shelf among bottles, candles and a clock. The design is by Hannah Dale, from the Wrendale Designs collection.

The Aida has a colour printed background, so the setting is already there and you stitch the figures following the chart; alongside cross stitch you will use back stitch for the outlines and French knots. Hoop, scissors and frame are not included. The threads come ready sorted on the organiser, handy with so many shaded colours; once finished, the piece can be framed.
