On Top Of The World

This kit turns a painting by Lucy Pittaway into cross stitch: two sheep with their backs to us, looking out over rolling hills and distant mountains under a bright sky. The picture is worked in cross stitch, with back stitch for the outlines, a combination that gives the landscape depth without making the stitching difficult.

Everything you need to stitch is in the box, threads included, already sorted by colour on the organiser; hoop or frame, scissors and picture frame are not included, nor is the frame shown in the photo. The white Aida leaves a margin around the design, handy if you want to frame the finished piece or mount it on a board.
