Description

A zebra mare and her foal cheek to cheek: Hannah Dale's artwork for the Wrendale collection is built entirely from black stripes on white, while the splashes of colour in the background come already printed on the fabric and need no stitching. The design is worked in full cross stitch, with a little backstitch to define muzzles and ears.

The stranded cottons arrive sorted and numbered on a card organiser, so there is no need to wind them before starting — a real help on a design with so many shades of grey. A frame is not included: the 26 cm square suits a square frame or a round mount.
