Description

A ruffled little wren singing its heart out on a branch of pink blossom, drawn by Hannah Dale for the Wrendale collection and stitched on white Aida flecked with tiny printed speckles that give the pale background some life.

The threads come ready sorted by colour on a card organiser, so you can begin straight away. Alongside whole cross stitches the design uses fractional stitches, backstitch outlines and French knots, a nice way to practise a few extra stitches. The hoop shown is not included: the finished piece can be mounted in a hoop to hang as it is, or framed.
